2014 Reunion Extra!

Our 2014 Reunion will be held in Portland, Maine, June 12-15, at the Best Western Merry Manor Inn! The 2014 Annual DELANO KINDRED Membership Meeting will be held in conjunction with our Annual Reunion at 9:00 AM in the Inn on Saturday, June 14, 2014.

We thank Cousins Elizabeth and Arden Clarke and the Reunion Committee for planning and organizing this exceptional reunion... they've even arranged for a trolley tour of the Portland area and a real Maine Lobster Bake for Saturday night! Many DELANOs came to Maine when it was then part of Massachusetts. Among these DELANOs were several lighthouse keepers. We are fortunate that the Reunion will be located within a few miles of the iconic Portland Head lighthouse. Barzillai DELANO was one of the early keepers of this light, a visit to which is included on our trolley tour.

Please note that hotel reservations should be booked by 12 May to secure the special room rate. Also, please remember to complete both parts 1 and 2 of the 2014 Reunion Registration Form and send it to Arden Clarke as soon as possible (Arden's address is on the Form). Portland and the surrounding area are full of things to do and see; it's a very exciting city in which to hold a reunion.
