Presented in this issue is a preview of the 2002 Reunion and Annual Meeting at the Whites of Westport Regional Hospitality Center, located at the junction of I-195 and Route 24 just east of Fall River, Massachusetts, on August 9, 2002. Included in the festivities: Cornelius DELANO (GHAAHD pg. 250) was honored in a Revolutionary War Grave Marker dedication ceremony scheduled at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, 11 August 2002. Other items included in this issue were:

  • Cathy Dyson of the Fredericksburg, Virginia Free Lance-Star contributed a story about Cousin Reggie DeLano of Fredericksburg. This story was originally published in their August 9, 2001 issue;
  • Cousin Muriel C. Cushing reports finding a useful website for those cousins who have allied family ties to Cape Cod (the Cobb, Dyer, Sears, Hatch families and others). The BARNSTABLE COUNTY MARSTONS MILLS GRAVESTONES website is www.capecodgravestones.com;

  • A story from Cousin Carolyn Clarke about working for Information Services at the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 SLC Olympic Winter Games with her daughter, Arden;
